It's been many months, for which there is no real explaination. Since the last entry, much has happened. Where to start where to start???
The adjustment to the work I had done in January went better then expected. It lost it's novelty within a few weeks and now hardly anyone even notices...unless it's to say what a beautiful smile I have! LOL I now need to go through the relinement process, but getting time off of work has been slim to none, with none winning. Here's to hopin' that the commisioners lift the ban soon!
On the 26th of April my divorce became final! Definate good thing. My ex didn't ever show for it....I can hardly believe that I was THAT nervous over the whole thing. LOL It's been anything but a smooth transition since. I managed to get everything changed back to my madiae name, all almost without problems. The realization of being single again has been an interesting thing to deal with. :-\ I've had friends try to set me up and get me out there...but it's not an easy thing when your heart has already been elsewhere.
Work is as it always has been....busy! Atleast that is one thing in my life that stays constant. LOL I was promoted to Lead Officer just this month, and while there aren't any stripes involved, there is a SLIGHT pay increase and of course added responsibilities. Atleast I can officially run my own Crew and such. LOL
Other than that...just trying to stay cool in the ever unbearably HOT Texas summer! Day 44 of triple digit temps awaits us tomorrow. I swear Autumn just had better hurry up and get here already!!! LOL Anyways....I hope everyone is doing well in their day to day. Please update me as I work on catching up on submissions. LOL and 's to all!!!
